Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wesley James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by MMA Entrance Theme - Anderson Silva. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wesley James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jojo Santos!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Santos looks to land a left hand but James moved out of range nicely.
Santos changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Santos misses with a two punch combination.

Santos fakes the leg kick and cracks James in the body.
Santos thuds his right hand into James's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Santos catches James with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Santos throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot.
Santos lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from James lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Santos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Santos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as James accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
James is working Santos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

James looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Santos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

James shoots in looking for a takedown. Santos tries to sprawl out of it but James keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for James, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
