Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Long Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiro Shiage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shiage comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Caffine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Long Owens has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Long Owens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kiro Shiage!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens fails with an attempt to clinch.
Owens circles away from the clinch attempt.
Owens drives through and clinches with Shiage against the cage.
Shiage throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Shiage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Owens takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Owens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Shiage lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Owens fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Shiage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shiage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shiage misses with a wild combination.
Owens closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Shiage blocking the ground and pound attempt from Owens.
Shiage pushes Owens off looking to stand but Owens dives back in and keeps control.
Owens decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Shiage throws a jab but it's blocked by Owens.
A head kick misses from Shiage.
Shiage throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Owens's head.
Owens is rocked!
It looks like Long Owens has been cut.
Owens blocks a head kick by Shiage.
Oh Owens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shiage tries to clinch up but Owens circles away and keeps his distance.
Shiage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shiage lands a big head kick that sends Owens to the canvas! Shiage follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kiro Shiage!
An intense looking Kiro Shiage took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I'm too destructive!I would also like to thank my mentor Johnny Canuck for all of his help.'.
