Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Worrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tat Moh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Worrell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Worrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tat Moh!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Worrell.
Moh throws a hook but Worrell blocks it.
Worrell on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Moh throws a low kick but Worrell moves out of range easily.
Moh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Worrell circles away quickly and effectively.
Moh thuds his right hand into Worrell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Moh tries to clinch but Worrell is having none of it.

Worrell has closed the distance and engaged Moh in a clinch.
Moh taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Worrell throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Moh lands a right hand that snaps the head of Worrell backwards.
Worrell lands with a left to the head.

Moh turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Moh manages to end up in side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Moh is trying to move to mount but Worrell reverses beautifully and ends up in Moh's guard.
Moh wants to improve his position but instead Worrell has moved into half guard.

Worrell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Worrell has managed to get both his arms back between Moh's legs - danger averted.

Worrell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moh works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moh shoots in but no luck this time.

Worrell throws a right hand that Moh ducks under and follows up with a left that Moh also avoids with ease.
Worrell is looking to land body kicks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Worrell throws the kick towards the body but Moh avoids it.
Moh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Worrell.
Worrell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tat Moh will probably get the nod.

Worrell swats away the attempt to clinch by Moh.

Moh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Worrell can pounce on him.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Worrell slaps away a takedown attempt from Moh, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Moh throws a leg kick but Worrell sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Worrell scores with a hook to the body. Moh takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Worrell blocks a low kick nicely.

Worrell misses with the head strike.
Moh has a couple of punches blocked by Worrell.
Worrell fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Moh jumps guard and drags Worrell to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Moh working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Worrell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Moh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Moh is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Worrell has escaped the position, nice work there.
Moh tries to advance to mount but Worrell denies him.
Worrell is looking for a sweep.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Worrell keeps working.
Moh tries to advance to mount but Worrell instead regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tat Moh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
