Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Belle Kelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Indigo Starseed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starseed comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Like Water - Pro Era kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Indigo Starseed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kelo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Starseed sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starseed wants to control but Kelo is keeping busy.
Kelo trying to pass the guard but Starseed defending well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Starseed manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kelo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Starseed is looking for a triangle here but Kelo uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Starseed is looking for a sweep.

A lull in the action here as Kelo stalls from top position.
Starseed manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kelo's best efforts.

Kelo wants to work for an arm triangle but Starseed is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Starseed wants to improve his position but Kelo is controlling well.
Kelo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Starseed on the ground.
Kelo is thwarting Starseed's attempts to control the position.

Starseed is pressing down on Kelo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Starseed is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Starseed has his foot on Kelo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kelo works his way back into a safe position though.
Our spies down at at Midnight MMA inform us that Starseed has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Starseed is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kelo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Starseed's body to avoid the submission. Starseed has instead reached around Kelo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Starseed arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
