The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laser missing with a left hand there. Mullen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Mullen shoots in and drives through. Laser sprawls well.

and Mullen counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Laser is lucky that one didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mullen gets caught flat footed, as Laser shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Laser passes Mullen's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Laser looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Laser is keen to just control but Mullen is a slippery customer.
Laser thows a huge punch but Mullen dodges it nicely.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Laser lands a nice short elbow.
Laser passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mullen!
Laser lands a big shot there that rocks Mullen but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Delmar Mullen has been cut.
