Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kiyoshi Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Slade Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters circle momentarily. Nakamura darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nakamura lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilson circles away quickly and effectively.
Wilson fails with the takedown.

Nakamura gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wilson is working for takedown but Nakamura is calmly controlling the position for now.

Wilson has picked Nakamura up - he's going for a ride! Wilson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Nakamura is looking for a sweep. Wilson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nakamura is trying to stand up here but Wilson is controlling him well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wilson is stalling here. Nakamura is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wilson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nakamura has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Wilson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Nakamura works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Wilson wants to control but Nakamura postures up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nakamura cracks Wilson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Nakamura has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wilson is trying to get back to half guard.
Nakamura is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson tries to buck Nakamura off but Nakamura is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Wilson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Wilson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Nakamura grinds an elbow into Wilson's temple.
Wilson is looking to reverse the position.
Wilson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nakamura connects with a decent elbow.
Nakamura lands some shots froms side control.
Nakamura trying to control the action but Wilson is working from the bottom.
Wilson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Wilson gets back to half guard.
Wilson wants to improve his position but Nakamura is controlling well.
Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nakamura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nakamura slips a nice elbow through Wilson's hands, connecting with Wilson's forehead.
Nakamura tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Wilson.

The fighters are battling for position here. Wilson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Nakamura is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nakamura working over Wilson with some ground and pound. Wilson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Wilson wants to improve his position but Nakamura is controlling well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nakamura is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wilson is just riding it out for now. Nakamura eventually gives up the hold.
Nakamura winds up and cracks Wilson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nakamura closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kiyoshi Nakamura is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nakamura avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kiyoshi Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nakamura swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wilson is pressing down on Nakamura's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nakamura is holding on for now.

Nakamura wants to get back to his feet.

Wilson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nakamura could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wilson has cracked it and Nakamura is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wilson!
