Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Auguste Grimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grimm has chosen David Gilmour - There's No Way Out Of Here as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ein Stein!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Auguste Grimm!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grimm throws out the jab.
Grimm throws a body punch but Stein moves out of range.
Grimm tries to score with a low kick but Stein moves his leg out of the way.
Grimm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grimm avoids the body shot from Stein.

and Stein counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Stein frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Grimm defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Stein.
Grimm is in all sorts of trouble here.

Stein goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Grimm turns into him and now he's in Stein's guard.

Grimm uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stein has time to react.

Grimm has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stein can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grimm wants to sweep here but Stein controlling him for the moment.

That was a close round but Ein Stein did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stein accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stein stands up over Grimm, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Stein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grimm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stein has managed to get both his arms back between Grimm's legs - danger averted.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Ein Stein will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Stein clobbers Grimm with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Stein takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Stein walks into a straight right hand from Grimm.
Grimm connects with a right hand. Stein shakes it off.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stein.
Stein wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Stein takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Grimm shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Grimm tries to close the distance and clinch but Stein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
