Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dark Daemon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Dalit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dark Daemon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dexter Dalit!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalit lands a body shot.
Dalit misses with a body shot.
Dalit throws a combination that misses

and Daemon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dalit's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dalit can do anything to dispel that myth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dalit is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Daemon is controlling him.
Daemon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Dalit keeping moving, preventing Daemon from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daemon pushing down on Dalit's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Daemon is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daemon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dalit's head.
Daemon is looking to take a break and control but Dalit is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Daemon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Daemon is looking for a kimura but Dalit is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Daemon to get the leverage.

Daemon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dalit sees it coming and defends easily.
Daemon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Daemon has hold of Dalit's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dalit manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dalit is squirming around, avoiding Daemon's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that Dalit really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Daemon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daemon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Daemon throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dalit because Daemon loaded up on that one.
Dalit squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
BOOM! Daemon connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Daemon fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Daemon is trying to control here but Dalit has managed to regain half guard.

Daemon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dalit is just riding it out for now. Daemon eventually gives up the hold.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Daemon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dalit does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dalit is trying to stand.
Dalit blocking the ground and pound attempt from Daemon.

Daemon in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Dalit tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Daemon!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dark Daemon!
