PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore ducks right into an uppercut from Dragon.
Moore looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dragon takes the fight into the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Moore obliges.

Dragon swings wildly with an uppercut but Moore uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dragon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moore can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dragon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Moore stacks Dragon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Moore!
Dragon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Moore asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Moore has Dragon pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Dragon is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Moore - that's hurt Dragon badly! Oh, another knee lands and Dragon is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Dragon doesn't seem to be complaining.
