Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barrett Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lizandro Ibarra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barrett Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Lizandro Ibarra!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Ibarra moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Ibarra misses with a head kick.
Johnson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Johnson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ibarra throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ibarra.
Ibarra stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ibarra wants it to stay on the feet.
Johnson feints a jab promting Ibarra to slip. Johnson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ibarra slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ibarra tries a head kick but it misses.

Ibarra lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Ibarra takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Barrett Johnson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ibarra throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ibarra looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ibarra takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ibarra is looking for a sweep.

Ibarra tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Johnson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Ibarra is trying desperately to improve position.

Ibarra bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ibarra shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Ibarra has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Johnson is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Ibarra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ibarra's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ibarra scrambles back to his feet.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Ibarra tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ibarra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ibarra keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Johnson's efforts to push away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ibarra has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ibarra manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts.

Johnson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Johnson cracks Ibarra with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
