Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Goins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, LL Cool J - Rocking with the G.O.A.T.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Leroy Goins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazushi Sakuraba!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goins shoots in and bounces Sakuraba off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Goins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Sakuraba had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Goins defends it easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Goins's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Goins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Sakuraba is looking for a triangle but Goins pushes his legs off easily.
Goins with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Sakuraba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Goins defends well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goins trying to control but Sakuraba is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goins stands up over Sakuraba, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Goins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Goins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Goins is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Brown House that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Goins tries to free his leg and advance position but Sakuraba is retaining full guard.
Goins wants to control from the top but Sakuraba keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sakuraba is looking to cinch up a triangle. Goins throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sakuraba's body to avoid the submission. Sakuraba has instead reached around Goins's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sakuraba arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kazushi Sakuraba!
After winning the bout, Kazushi Sakuraba thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
