Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donovan Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Golden. A fine choice. Robertson has chosen When the lights go out as his entrance music. Donovan Robertson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robertson rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Gracie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gracie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gracie wants to sweep here but Robertson controlling him for the moment.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Robertson enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robertson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Robertson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Robertson's legs - danger averted.

Gustavo Gracie decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
