Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Cottero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is 50 Cent - In Da Club. A fine choice. Bruce Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cottero thumps Gracie with a low kick.
Cottero throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it.
Gracie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Cottero throws a one two combo.
That kick from Cottero tenderised Gracie's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gracie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cottero.
Cottero fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A lazy left from Cottero finds it's target.
We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Cottero fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tommy Cottero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cottero throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cottero clinches up against the cage.
Cottero scores with a nice hook to the head.
Cottero swings wildly with an uppercut but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Cottero breaks from the clinch.
Cottero feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gracies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Gracie shoots in but Cottero avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cottero connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.
Cottero connects with a solid leg kick.
Cottero lands a right hook to the body.
Cottero cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gracie shoots in but Cottero avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cottero has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cottero scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Cottero throws a head kick that Gracie semi-blocks.
Cottero takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
Cottero dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Cottero connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tommy Cottero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Cottero throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cottero lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
An inside leg kick lands from Cottero.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cottero pinned against the cage. Cottero gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Cottero.
Cottero throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cottero with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Cottero fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Cottero smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cottero paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nice sprawl there from Cottero as Gracie shoots in.

Gracie walks into a straight right hand from Cottero.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cottero fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracie on the side of the head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Cottero lands a body shot.
A thudding body kick lands there by Cottero!
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cottero lands a head kick. Gracie smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Gracie ducks right into an uppercut from Cottero.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cottero scores with a spinning back kick!
Cottero lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cottero, as that shot connected.
Cottero lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Gracie is rocked!
Cottero walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gracie drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Cottero swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gracie's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
