Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Hallick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derec Waller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waller has chosen You Never Can Tell as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Hallick.
Hallick looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hallick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hallick tries to bum rush Waller with a series of wild strikes but Waller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hallick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Waller scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Waller misses with a looping left.
Waller swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Waller throws the left hand but Hallick avoids the punch easily.
Waller looks to throw the jab but Hallick is out of range.

and Hallick connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hallick turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Waller comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hallick connects with a solid leg kick.
Waller cracks Hallick with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Waller checks the leg kick.
Hallick moves in looking to clinch but Waller pushes him off.
Waller looks to land a right hand but Hallick moved out of range.
Waller misses with a left hand
and Hallick counters with a leg kick.
Hallick scores with a shot to the body.
Hallick defending well as Waller loads up on a big left hand.
Hallick bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hallick connects with a solid leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Waller throws a one two combo.
Hallick takes a swing at Waller's ribcage but misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hallick, right into the meat.
Hallick avoids a punch combination nicely.
Waller's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hallick connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Waller scrambles back to his feet.
Hallick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Waller swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hallick pivots, looking for a leg kick but Waller is out of range and Hallick settles back down.
Waller avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Waller ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A big left from Waller misses.
Hallick avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Waller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hallick.

Waller has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hallick fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Hallick tries to work over Waller's front leg with a kick but Waller checks it.
Hallick lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Waller misses the shot to the body.

Hallick lands a big head kick that sends Waller tumbling to the mat! Hallick takes a step backwards and waves Waller back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Waller is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Hallick counters with a monster head kick that knocks Waller out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
