Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wayde West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Jaysimpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think West might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Styles Of Beyound-Nine Thou. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaysimpson takes one on the button.

Jaysimpson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks West with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jaysimpson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

West lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A nice inside leg kick there by West. That's going to slow Jaysimpson down.

Jaysimpson darts in and clinches West up against the cage.
A short body shot lands from West as the two fighters clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for West.

A nice right hand lands inside from West.

West lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jaysimpson.

West breaks from the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jaysimpson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and West connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jaysimpson scrambles back to his feet.

Jaysimpson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? West is fending him off so far but Jaysimpson persists. Nope, West circles away and we're back to standing.

West feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jaysimpson sprawling to the canvas! Jaysimpson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can West finish him?!

Jaysimpson is rocked!
Jaysimpson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jaysimpson switches off momentarily and West cracks him with a monster right hand! Jaysimpson topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as West dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by West!
