The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puhovin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rockstar on his heels. He'll look to pass Rockstar's guard now, I'm sure.

Puhovin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rockstar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Puhovin, into his guard.
Puhovin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rockstar manages to get himself to full guard.

Puhovin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rockstar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Puhovin has managed to get both his arms back between Rockstar's legs - danger averted.
My spies in Russian Top Team Elite Gym inform me that Puhovin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Puhovin shoots in for a takedown but Rockstar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Rockstar counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Puhovin out cold! What a finish! Rockstar is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
