Scott comes to the cage accompanied by Ace Of Spades. Floyd has chosen Make it bun dem- Skrillex ft. Damian Marley as his entrance music. Ingmar Scott could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Demetrius Floyd's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ingmar Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Demetrius Floyd!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Floyd. That's going to slow Scott down.
Scott doesn't manage to clinch there - Floyd circles away.
Floyd buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Scott has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Ingmar Scott has been cut.
Scott lands a body shot.
Scott tries to clinch up.
Scott swats away the attempt to clinch by Floyd.
Scott falls off balance throwing a combination
and Floyd counters with a nice leg kick.
Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Floyd manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Floyd tries to close the distance and clinch up but Scott swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Scott has been working on his boxing with his coaches at TAP ROOT -/- 10 Coaches / Great Sparring / Value in the buildup to the fight.
Scott looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Scott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Floyd manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Floyd fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Scott, pushing him back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Scott fails to land.
Floyd lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott is trying to break the clinch but Floyd is controlling him.
Floyd throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Scott blocks it with crossed arms.
Scott tries to pull guard but Floyd forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Floyd has Scott pressed against the cage, preventing Scott from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Floyd throws a head punch that misses.

Floyd lands a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Floyd throwing strikes but missing.
Floyd trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom.
Floyd is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Scott wants to get back to his feet but Floyd is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Demetrius Floyd.
Floyd wants to clinch up but Scott keeps it at a distance.
Nice body kick there by Floyd.
Floyd scores with a three punch combo!

Floyd moves in looking to clinch but Scott pushes him off.

Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Floyd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ground and pound from Scott seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Floyd bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Scott. Floyd does a little dance to reset his feet.
Floyd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Scott throws a right and a left that both miss.
Scott fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott misses with a wild combination.
Scott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Floyd.

Floyd drops Scott with a beautiful combination! Scott stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Floyd is looking for the KO!

Scott takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Whack! Floyd lands a heavy head kick that drops Scott. The ref tackles Floyd to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Scott was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Demetrius Floyd!
Our winner, Demetrius Floyd, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Ingmar Scott spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back'.
