Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noah Mayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dostoevsky Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fedor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mayo to the mat! Mayo manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Fedor throws a strike but Mayo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mayo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mayo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mayo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fedor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mayo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fedor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fedor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fedor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Noah Mayo will probably get the nod.

Fedor lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mayo quite badly. Mayo pulls Fedor in close trying to recover. Fedor postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mayo on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mayo doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
