The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naji paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

We've been hearing good reports from Naji's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Naji has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Naji accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Naji loads up on a big left hand. Quinn felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Naji looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Quinn can't hide his disappointment, as Naji celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdul Rashid Naji!
