Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Daniel!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sykes dives in for a single leg takedown but Daniel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Daniel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sykes's elbow.

Daniel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sykes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Daniel connects with a nice looking jab.
Sykes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Daniel shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Daniel works Sykes's body with a nice hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Daniel. Sykes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sykes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Daniel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sykes circles away quickly and effectively.
Daniel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Daniel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sykes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sykes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Daniel defends well and Sykes ends up having to push Daniel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Sykes counters with a good low kick that Daniel was not able to check.
Daniel throws a low kick, looking for Sykes's leg but Sykes calmly moves out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Daniel. Sykes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Daniel misses with a jab, cross combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Daniel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Daniel is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Daniel tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sykes. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
