Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leif Nygard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hektor Troy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nygard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dread Zeppelin - Immigrant Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nygard connects with a crisp jab.
Troy throws a poor cross that misses
and Troy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nygard throws a body punch but Troy moves out of range.
Nygard tries to work over Troy's front leg with a kick but Troy checks it.
Nygard uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Troy has time to react.
Troy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nygard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Troy throws out a leg kick but Nygard moves out of range and Troy only half commits.
Nygard misses with a low kick.
Troy slips under a jab.
Troy tries to score with a low kick but Nygard moves his leg out of the way.
Troy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nygard is able to avoid easily.
Troy moves out of range of the body kick.
Nygard tries to close the distance and clinch but Troy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Troy checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Nygard has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Troy.
Troy gets a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nygard misses with some punches.

Troy scores with a nice hook to the head.
It looks like Leif Nygard has been cut.
Troy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Troy tries to throw a body punch but Nygard avoids it by throwing Troy back against the cage.

Nygard manages to break the clinch.

Troy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nygard throws a looping overhand right but Troy ducks down to avoid it.
A jab from Troy finds it's way through Nygard's defenses.

Troy throws a head kick but Nygard moves out of range.
Troy misses with a wild body shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Troy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Nygard misses the shot to the body.
Troy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Nygard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Troy moves away.
Nygard has closed the distance and engaged Troy in a clinch.
Troy tries to work over Nygard's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Troy lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Troy throws a punch but it's blocked by Nygard.
A head punch on the inside from Troy fails to land.
Troy can't find room to land a body shot as Nygard controls the action.
Nygard tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Nygard blocking some punches.
Nygard gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Hektor Troy has been cut.
Nygard blocks an uppercut.
Nygard throws a punch but it's blocked by Troy.
Troy misses with the head strike.
Troy tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Troy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nygard's elbow.
Troy swings wildly with an uppercut but Nygard uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nygard softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Nygard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nygard tries a low kick but Troy avoids it.
Troy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Troy throws a body punch but Nygard moves out of range.

and Troy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nygard stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Troy.
Nygard moves out of range as Troy throws a body kick.
Nygard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Troy counters with a left to the body.
Nygard looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Troy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nygard misses with a right hand
letting Troy counter with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Troy connects with a crisp jab.
Good leg kick by Troy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Nygard thows a leg kick but Troy checks it
letting Troy counter with a right hand.
Nygard is rocked!
Troy drops Nygard with a huge uppercut! Nygard drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Troy is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hektor Troy!
During a confident post fight interview, Hektor Troy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
