Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Fitzsimmons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Fitzsimmons.
Fitzsimmons is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kelly works Fitzsimmons's body with a nice hook.
Fitzsimmons lands a jab to the head.
Fitzsimmons looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fitzsimmons throws a low kick but Kelly moves out of range easily.
Kelly feints a jab promting Fitzsimmons to slip. Kelly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fitzsimmons slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Jim Fitzsimmons has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelly throws a push kick but Fitzsimmons slaps the foot to one side.
Good leg kick by Fitzsimmons there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fitzsimmons jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fitzsimmons throws a shot from downtown. Kelly moves away and avoids it.
Fitzsimmons shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kelly eats them both and turns towards Fitzsimmons to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fitzsimmons misses with a head kick.
Fitzsimmons misses the shot to the body.
Fitzsimmons misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fitzsimmons avoids the head kick by Kelly.
Kelly scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kelly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fitzsimmons circles away quickly and effectively.

Kelly connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fitzsimmons. Fitzsimmons circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kelly misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fitzsimmons throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Fitzsimmons connects with a leg kick. Kelly looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Kelly takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Fitzsimmons defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kelly.

A bone on bone clash there as Fitzsimmons blocks the leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fitzsimmons throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kelly ducks right into an uppercut from Fitzsimmons.

Oooooh!!! Fitzsimmons has knocked Kelly down with a huge combo! Fitzsimmons steps away and waves a wobbly Kelly back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Kelly is rocked!
Kelly gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Fitzsimmons gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
