Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bong Ki Duk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ki Duk might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to north korea's national anthem. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Cat has hold of one of Ki Duk's legs. Ki Duk is fighting the takedown attempt but Cat gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Cat stays in close to Ki Duk's body and controls the position.
Ki Duk wants to stand but Cat is controlling the position.

Cat drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ki Duk dives on top into guard.
Cat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cat has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ki Duk after a bit of a struggle.

Bong Ki Duk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Cat.

That was a close round but I would say that Bong Ki Duk will probably get the nod.

Ki Duk is not content to let Cat control the position.

Cat has hold of Ki Duk's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ki Duk seems comfortable defending it but Cat has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ki Duk is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ki Duk is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cat couldn't care less - he's delighted!
