PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bert Kreischer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreischer has chosen Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Brown!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bert Kreischer!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kreischer gets caught napping as Brown dives in and scores a takedown. Kreischer manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tony Brown.
Brown has a takedown stuffed.
Nice takedown defense from Kreischer. No joy for Brown on that attempt.

Brown closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kreischer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kreischer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Kreischer's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kreischer in particular looking to stall.

Brown has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kreischer is working away from the top position though.
