Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brooks rushes Garret and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Garret misses with the head strike.
Garret misses with a body punch.

Garret tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

It looks like Sammir Brooks has been cut.
Brooks tries to land a leg kick but Garret saw it coming and moves away.
Brooks throws a series of punches but Garret moves out of range.
Brooks has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Brooks fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Garret is out of range.
Brooks misses with a head kick.
Brooks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Garret connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Brooks onto his butt! Brooks bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Brooks is still on wobbly legs! Can Garret finish him?
Garret throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brooks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Brooks looks winded!
Garret circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Brooks tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Garret wins by KO!

An out of breath Pat Garret thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
