Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Typhaze!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Typhaze getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
King Typhaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Typhaze will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Masaru throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Typhaze misses with a looping right.

Typhaze rushes Masaru and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

It looks like Shun Masaru has been cut.
Masaru lands a hook that snaps the head of Typhaze backwards.
Typhaze lands an elbow just above Masaru 's eye.
Masaru blocks an elbow strike from Typhaze.

Masaru is trying to stall.
Masaru is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Typhaze to keep the fight standing.
Masaru avoids a wild elbow strike from Typhaze.

Masaru manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Typhaze got a little sloppy there for a moment and Masaru has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Typhaze has managed to get both his arms back between Masaru's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oh but Masaru is tightening it up a little... Typhaze has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Typhaze reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Typhaze taps out! Nice BJJ there by Masaru!
