And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Davies!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davies closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Walter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Davies closes the distance and pushes Walter back into the cage.

Walter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Davies gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Walter fails to pull guard.
Davies tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Walter has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Davies is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Walter can't get the takedown.

Davies using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Walter has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Walter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Davies walks away with a smile on his face. Walter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davies throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Walters head.

Walter gets control of Davies's arms and successfully pulls guard. Walter will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Davies got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davies has managed to get both his arms back between Walter's legs - danger averted.
Davies would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

John Davies comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Davies winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
