Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stewart Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Scotland The Brave. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stewart Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Jones!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones jabs Hunter to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jones tries to clinch but Hunter moves out of range.
Jones misses with a head kick.
Hunter blocks a head kick by Jones.

Hunter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hunter lands in his opponent's guard.
Hunter postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jones is looking to stand up but Hunter isn't so interested in that idea.
Hunter postures up and lands a big shot to Jones's brow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hunter manages to pass to side control.
Hunter scoring with strikes to the body and head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunter drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head.
Hunter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jones looks winded!
Hunter working Jones over with strikes.
Jones is looking to control Hunter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?
Jones has hold of Hunter's hands but Hunter slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jones taking some punishment here, with Hunter in his half guard.
Hunter lands with a punch from half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hunter is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hunter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hunter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hunter landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hunter scores with a couple of nice shots.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hunter looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Hunter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hunter winds up and cracks Jones with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hunter landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Jones has hold of Hunter's hands but Hunter slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Hunter lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Hunter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hunter passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones!
Jones is bucking up trying to escape but Hunter cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


Jones is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Hunter's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stewart Hunter!
In his post fight interview, Stewart Hunter gave a big smile as he said 'Looks like this lad that they put me in the cage to maul may be better suited for another line of work! Bring on the next one, because they are all going to fall to The Loch Ness Monster!'.
