The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrell chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tyrell lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Horrible takedown by Franco or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyrell which made him look bad.
Tyrell gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Franco counters by moving into the clinch.

Franco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Franco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tyrell circles away.
Chad Tyrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyrell looks for the body kick but Franco saw that one coming.
Tyrell throws a chopping leg kick but Franco manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Tyrell lands a big head kick that sends Franco tumbling to the mat! Tyrell takes a step backwards and waves Franco back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Franco is rocked!

It looks like Donny Franco has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyrell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Franco's calf.
Oh Franco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick by Tyrell - that's a beauty! Franco is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Tyrell can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Chad Tyrell!
