And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Svork Silva!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva pushes Kingi up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva lands a nice knee to the body.
Silva avoiding damage.
Kingi tries to stall but Silva uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Silva with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Kingi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kingi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kingi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there.

Kingi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Silva would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Silva wants to stand but Kingi is controlling his posture from full guard.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kingi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Kingi's legs - danger averted.

Silva clinches up with Kingi and pushes him back against the cage.
Kingi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kingi tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Kingi drops back down to his feet.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Silva as Kingi tries to tie him up.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Silva.
Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Kingi blocks with his arms.
Kingi looking to stall.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Silva moves into range and clinches up with Kingi.
Kingi can't break the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Silva takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Kingi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Silva darts in and clinches Kingi up against the cage.
Silva has Kingi pressed against the cage, preventing Kingi from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Silva lands an uppercut.
Silva lands a body shot in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva stalling against the cage.
Kingi tries to pull guard but Silva forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Silva lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Silva has Kingi pressed against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Silva tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Kingi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Silva escapes and gets back to his feet.
A slapping body kick lands there for Silva.
Kingi throws a head kick that misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva blocks a head kick by Kingi.

Silva drives through and clinches with Kingi against the cage.
Silva is struggling to control the position.
Silva receives a warning from the referee for stalling.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kingi is trying to break free.
Silva has Kingi pushed against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Silva.
Svork Silva seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Silva landing some nice looking knees to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kingi fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stadin Kingi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kingi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Svork Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Silva lands a shoulder strike.
Silva scores a nice knee to the body.
Silva is stalling here.
Kingi tries to stall but Silva uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Svork Silva.
Silva moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Silva lands a right hook to the body.

Silva forces Kingi back against the cage and clinches.

Kingi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Silva is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kingi to the mat. Kingi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Kingi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.

Kingi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Silva is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kingi.
Silva tries to stand but Kingi is controlling his head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kingi is looking to reverse the position.
Silva tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Kingi is trying to improve his position.

Kingi is working hard here to advance position.
Silva is staying tight to Kingi's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Silva wants to stand but Kingi has his arm trapped.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Silva is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Kingi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silva wants to stand but Kingi is controlling his arm.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Svork Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
