Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peet Grape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Schilk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peet Grape!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Magnus Schilk!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schilk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Schilk throws a head kick that misses.
Grape moves out of range as Schilk throws a body kick.
Grape tries for a takedown but Schilk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Grape shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Grape wants to work for an arm triangle but Schilk is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Grape is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Schilk defends it well.
Schilk pushes Grape off looking to stand but Grape dives back in and keeps control.
Schilk is trying to get back to full guard.
Schilk wants to control but Grape is keeping busy.

Schilk struggling a bit here.

Grape thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Schilk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grape. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've been hearing that Grape has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

and Grape counters with a shoot takedown. Schilk fights it but they end up in guard.

Grape might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Schilk wants to stand up but Grape is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
