Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Adrijan Joakim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Luther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Luther told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joakim fails in his attempt to clinch.
Luther misses with a looping left.
Joakim tried to score with a low kick but Luther checks it.
Luther throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Joakim has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Convicted Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Joakim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Luther lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Joakim has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Joakim and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Joakim creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Luther crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Luther face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Joakim takes it with a brutal technical knockout!

After the fight, Adrijan Joakim was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
