The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Verwaaijen gets the takedown into side control.

Verwaaijen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Walls, who protects the arm well.

Oh Walls is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Verwaaijen has knee on belly and moves into mount.
A big strike lands for Verwaaijen! That's really hurt Walls and he's turned his back - Verwaaijen keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Verwaaijen jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
