The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Chantry as he checks the leg kick.
Chantry moves out of range as Bashor throws a body kick.
Bashor throws a head kick that misses
and Chantry counters with a nice leg kick.
Chantry has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bashor misses with an attempted mid kick.
Chantry fails with the takedown.
Bashor lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chantry swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chantry takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Bashor moves into the clinch successfully.
With the fighters up against the cage, Bashor throws an elbow but misses.

Chantry changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bashor fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Chantry goes for a double leg but Bashor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bashor continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tatton Chantry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chantry jumps guard but Bashor turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Chantry has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bashor clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bashor manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Chantry is now in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The strikes coming from Chantry are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Chantry has an Americana. Bashor didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Chantry is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Chantry hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
