Donovan Robertson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wayde West's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West leaves Robertson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
West chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We've been hearing reports that Robertson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Robertson moves out of range as West throws a body kick.
Robertson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

West clinches up against the cage.
Robertson is trying to maintain a safe position but West gets an underhook and turns Robertson into the cage.
West is pushing Robertson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
West goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
West stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Nice body punch from West - that landed with a thud.
West can't find room to land a body shot as Robertson controls the action.
West crunches a lovely knee into Robertson's ribcage.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from West! Robertson is out on his feet! West rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Robertson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Robertson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
