Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elmo David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bragainho Prado!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prado closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. David did well to prevent Prado getting side control.
David tries to roll over but Prado keeps him under control.

Prado is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Prado is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
David wants to improve his position but Prado is controlling well.

David is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Prado pulls his head out easily.

Prado is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and David defends it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Prado is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so David is just riding it out for now. Prado eventually gives up the hold.

That's one minute gone in the round.
David trying to control but Prado postures up.
David flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
David missing with punches from the bottom.

Prado looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Prado works his foot free and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Prado wants to finish this one by submission but David is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Prado.
David tries to hold on but Prado pushes him away.
David really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Prado looking to secure an arm triangle but David defends it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
David is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
David is wriggling around trying to escape.

Prado working for a guillotine from mount but David is in no mood to give up.

Prado is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, David has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
David really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Prado has hold of David's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and David manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Prado prevents David from getting the reversal.

Prado has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! David is forced to tap!
