Pot comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Showering of Money kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Pot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Martin Kampmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Pot!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pot scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pot checks a low kick from Kampmann.
Kampmann attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Pot checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Pot falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kampmann counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kampmann moves in looking to clinch but Pot pushes him off.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pot.
Kampmann throws a low kick, looking for Pot's leg but Pot calmly moves out of range.
Pot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kampmann was well out of range. Poor timing from Pot.
Kampmann attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Pot throws a series of strikes that have Kampmann backpedaling.
Kampmann misses with a few strikes there.
Kampmann throws a series of punches but Pot moves out of range.
Martin Kampmann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kampmann avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pot takes a swing at Kampmann's ribcage but misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pot checks a leg kick.
Pot blocks a low kick nicely.
Kampmann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kampmann fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pot checks it well.
Kampmann throws a leg kick but Pot sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kampmann fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pot manages to avoid it.
Kampmann closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Pot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kampmann manages to avoid it.
Kampmann looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
An inside leg kick lands from Kampmann.
Kampmann avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pot checks the leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pot has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kampmann is looking to chop away at Pot's legs.
Pot moves out of range of the strikes.
Pot shoots in but no luck this time.
Pot takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kampmann misses with an uppercut. Pot saw that one coming.
Pot on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab from Kampmann finds it's way through Pot's defenses.
Pot throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kampmann counters with a good low kick that Pot was not able to check.
Kampmann pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pot is out of range and Kampmann settles back down.
A punch lands to the side of Pot 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kampmann connects with a jab.


Pot is rocked!
Kampmann throws an overhand right that drops Pot like a sack of potatoes! Kampmann dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Kampmann!
During a confident post fight interview, Martin Kampmann thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
