Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Afa Sila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonnie Mazloum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Afa Sila!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tonnie Mazloum!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazloum lands with a nice body punch.
Mazloum throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sila counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mazloum looking for a sweep. Not yet Mazloum, not yet.
Mazloum wants to stand and escape but Sila is having none of it.
Sila wants to pass the guard but Mazloum is keeping the position.
Mazloum preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mazloum looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sila is one step ahead there.
Sila is looking to work some ground and pound but Mazloum has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sila stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mazloum swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sila postures up in Mazloum's guard and throws a big left but Mazloum blocks it.
Sila works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sila has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sila thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mazloum's head.
Sila wants to control but Mazloum is keeping him busy.

We've been hearing that Sila has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Mazloum is doing well to control the position and prevent Sila from advancing to side control.

Sila thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mazloum's head.

Sila is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Sila throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mazloum blocking the ground and pound.
Sila wants to control the pace but Mazloum is squirming around nicely.

Sila fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mazloum is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Sila has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mazloum's face.
Sila lands a couple of good shots and Mazloum has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sila is cranking Mazloum's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Mazloum! He's tightened the choke and Mazloum is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Afa Sila!
A relieved looking Afa Sila thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
