The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheehan Jr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McBain's hands.

McBain throws a right hand that Sheehan Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Sheehan Jr also avoids with ease.
McBain shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sheehan Jr eats them both and turns towards McBain to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sheehan Jr lands a leg kick that knocks McBain off balance momentarily.

McBain swings wildly with an uppercut but Sheehan Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
McBain lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sheehan Jr backwards.

McBain takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

McBain tried to score with a low kick but Sheehan Jr checks it.

McBain fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sheehan Jr manages to avoid it.
Sheehan Jr throws a sloppy head kick and McBain moves out of range easily.

McBain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sheehan Jr feints and then cracks McBain's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McBain down.

McBain tries to bum rush Sheehan Jr with a series of wild strikes but Sheehan Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round but I would say that Justus Sheehan Jr will probably get the nod.

Sheehan Jr wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
McBain tries a head kick but it misses.
Sheehan Jr takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McBain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sheehan Jr can pounce on him.

and McBain counters with a left and a right... And another left! Sheehan Jr is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
