Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Shinjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinjo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Theme of Sho. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob scores with a nice strike.
Shinjo lands a leg kick that knocks Bob off balance momentarily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shinjo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Shinjo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bob stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shinjo manages to avoid it.

Good leg kick by Bob there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch but Shinjo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bob tries to land a front kick but Shinjo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
