The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Marx misses with a straight right.
Karl Marx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Svensson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Marx cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marx loads up on a big right hand but Svensson slips the punch.
Marx ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Svensson moves away.
Marx wants to clinch.
Svensson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Svensson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A big left from Marx misses.
Donk. Marx catches Svensson right on the button with a cross.
Svensson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Marx throws a series of punches but Svensson moves out of range.
Svensson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Marx but Marx pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Svensson throws a series of punches but Marx avoids them all with ease.

Marx lands a big uppercut and Svensson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Svensson looks OK. Marx waves Svensson back to his feet!
Svensson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marx tries to bum rush Svensson with a series of wild strikes but Svensson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oh Svensson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nice defenses there by Svensson.
Svensson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marx cracks Svensson with a left hook right on the temple and Svensson goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Marx lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Svensson is OK!
