Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Uso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Conan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uso's entrance music is Get Up. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Uso defending well as Conan loads up on a big left hand.
Uso shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Conan as he jumps to the side.
Uso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Conan pinned against the cage. Conan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Uso shoots in looking for a takedown but Conan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Uso's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joshua Uso. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Conan defending well as Uso loads up on a big left hand.
Uso shoots for a takedown but Conan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck for Uso with that takedown attempt.
Conan misses with a wild body shot.
Uso darts in looking for a takedown but Conan gets double underhooks and turns Uso into the cage.

Conan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Conan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Conan wants to break free but Uso has control.

Uso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Uso shoots for a takedown but Conan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Conan misses the shot to the body.
Uso throws a series of punches but Conan avoids them all with ease.
Uso goes for a double leg but Conan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Conan continues to drive forward.

Conan breaks the clinch.
Conan shoots in but no luck this time.

Uso gets a double leg takedown into Conan's guard.
We've been hearing that Uso has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Uso content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Uso stops Conan from standing up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Uso working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Conan's head.
Conan has momentary wrist control but Uso slips an elbow through the middle.

It looks like Johnny Conan has been cut.
Uso trying to control the position from guard on top but Conan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Uso in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Uso has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Uso throws a big elbow that misses.
Uso throws an elbow that misses. Conan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Uso's guard. Nice move by Conan!
Conan is looking to work some ground and pound but Uso has wrist control.
Uso lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Conan!
BOOM! Uso connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That has opened up Johnny Conan's cut even more.

Conan is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnny Conan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Joshua Uso thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
