Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sylwester Snail!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hakon Lund!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snail closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Snail lands in his opponent's guard.
Snail controlling from the top position.
Snail pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lund is keeping the position for now.
Snail controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lund keeping moving, preventing Snail from controlling successfully.
Snail postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Snail engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sylwester Snail wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Snail moves forwards but Lund connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Snail displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lund throws out the jab.
Lund tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snail was well out of range. Poor timing from Lund.
Snail slips a straight right by Lund.
Snail buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Snail checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Snail scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Lund takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Snail lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Hakon Lund has been cut.
Lund lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lund throws a leg kick
and Snail counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Snail looks at the referee who does nothing so Snail lands a crushing right that sends Lund to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sylwester Snail!
Sylwester Snail looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Thanks for a fine fight,whos next?'.
The defeated Hakon Lund had this to say: 'I will come back stronger the next time around!'.
