Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Kenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with what's new pussycat blaring out of the sound system. Patrick Kenzie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Patrick Kenzie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones rushes Kenzie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Kenzie has him pressed against the cage.
Kenzie misses with the head strike.

Jones wants the takedown. Kenzie is fighting it off but Jones persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kenzie's guard against the cage.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jones lands a couple of digs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kenzie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kenzie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kenzie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kenzie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
