The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kabovik manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rabago on his heels. He'll look to pass Rabago's guard now, I'm sure.

Rabago shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kabovik is trying to defend but Rabago finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ray Rabago hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Kabovik throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rabago was covering up waiting for the punch and Kabovik finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
