The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veilleux misses with a wild body shot.
Veilleux looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hades Hug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Veilleux throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hug sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Veilleux takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hug fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hug lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Veilleux circles away quickly and effectively.
Hug moves away from the strike by Veilleux.
Hug connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Veilleux tumbling to the canvas! Hug pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Veilleux was done - good stoppage!
