The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Hero slams his shin into Risley's torso.
Hero throws a leg kick that misses.
Risley finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hero takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Risley throws a push kick but Hero slaps the foot to one side.
Hero moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That kick from Hero tenderised Risley's leg. Risley is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hero lands a nice leg kick that just misses Risley's sensitive parts.
Risley uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hero has time to react.

Hero bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Risley's head backwards.

Hero shoots in looking for a takedown but Risley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hero's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hero looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Risley is fending him off so far but Hero persists. Nope, Risley circles away and we're back to standing.

Risley is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Risley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hero shoots for a takedown but Risley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Risley's waist but Risley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hero off to one side.

Risley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hero manages to avoid it.
Good leg kick by Hero there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hero tries to land a front kick but Risley steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hero fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Risley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hero lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Risley throws a front kick aimed at Hero's knee but Hero avoids it well.
Hero takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Risley connects with a nice looking jab.

Hero is rocked!

It looks like Canadian Hero has been cut.
Risley with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hero is still on wobbly legs! Can Risley finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Risley fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Hero square on the jaw! Damn, Hero is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
