Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rauno Tynkkynen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Key's choice of entrance music: Party and Bullshit - Biggie Smalls. Rauno Tynkkynen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rauno Tynkkynen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Allen Key!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Key has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tynkkynen finds it's way round the side to connect with Key's head.
Tynkkynen scores with a body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Tynkkynen. Those never looked like landing.
Tynkkynen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Key sprawls well. Key wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tynkkynen gets slowly back to his feet.
Key's coach down at MMA Sanok Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Key's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Key connects with a solid leg kick.
Tynkkynen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tynkkynen misses with a wild combination.
Key takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tynkkynen fails to land the takedown.
Tynkkynen takes a kick to the side of the head.
Key shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tynkkynen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Key dodges the punch combination from Tynkkynen.
Key throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tynkkynen's waist but Tynkkynen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Key off to one side.
Tynkkynen avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Tynkkynen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tynkkynen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Key lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Rauno Tynkkynen has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Key has a takedown stuffed.
Rauno Tynkkynen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allen Key.
Tynkkynen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tynkkynen is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Tynkkynen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Key is looking for a takedown.
Tynkkynen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Tynkkynen tries to break the clinch but Key is controlling the position.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Key wants to get back to striking at distance but Tynkkynen won't allow it.

Key tries to pull guard but Tynkkynen won't allow it.

Tynkkynen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tynkkynen loads up on a big right hand but Key slips the punch.
Key dives in and grabs Tynkkynen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tynkkynen pushes down on Key's head and hops out.
Key looks winded!
Key takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tynkkynen lands an overhand right.
No joy there for Tynkkynen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tynkkynen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tynkkynen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tynkkynen is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tynkkynen bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Key! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


Key is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Tynkkynen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Key is still in real trouble! Can Tynkkynen finish him?
Key seems to have recovered his senses.
Tynkkynen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Tynkkynen passes Key's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Tynkkynen is trying to control the action in half guard but Key is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tynkkynen is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rauno Tynkkynen.
Tynkkynen throws a looping overhand right but Key ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tynkkynen scores with a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rauno Tynkkynen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rauno Tynkkynen's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Key takes one on the button.
Rauno Tynkkynen is winning the standup battle so far.
Key fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A combination from Tynkkynen does no damage.
Key throws a leg kick but Tynkkynen sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Key lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Key throws a head kick but Tynkkynen moves out of range.
Tynkkynen slaps away a takedown attempt from Key, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tynkkynen connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Key covering up! Tynkkynen comes in with a big uppercut and Key goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rauno Tynkkynen!
