Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mertsi Peltola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alen Delon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peltola looks to score with a jab to the body but Delon is just out of range.
Delon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peltola.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Delon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Peltola stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Peltola slaps away a takedown attempt from Delon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Peltola tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Delon was well out of range. Poor timing from Peltola.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
