Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jovon Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Varg Veide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chambers comes to the cage accompanied by Carmen Gray-Gates of Loneliness. Veide is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bachman-Turner Overdrive - Taking Care of Business. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veide throws a half hearted mid kick.
Veide fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Veide looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Veide tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chambers swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chambers throws a shot from downtown. Veide moves away and avoids it.
Veide connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Veide.
Chambers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Veide finds it's way round the side to connect with Chambers's head.

Chambers pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Chambers can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Veide controls the pace.
We've been hearing good reports from Chambers's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Chambers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chambers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Veide has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Chambers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Veide defends it well.

Veide throws a big uppercut that drops Chambers! More strikes from Veide and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Chambers lies dazed against the cage as Veide celebrates with his cornermen!
